Large porcelain standing form,42x35x8 cm, the only openings are the series of holes down the centre which are infilled with wax to create opaque pools. The profile of the piece is very fine but it stands very stable being heavily weighted at the base. It is pale blue grey colour just in the valleys of the ripples, the surface is very smooth and sanded back to the white of the porcelain. The form is reminiscent of Cycladic marble torsos, very organic and sensual . It feels wonderful to touch.
